Facilitated by Dr Tania Leigh
Date & Time: from 10am – 4.30pm Venue & Cost: Whaley Bridge, £55
This workshop is for mental health practitioners, counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists and will include theoretical presentations, discussions and experiential work. There will be the opportunity for two people to work with their dreams with Tania as a demonstration for everyone.
We sleep about a third of our life and, as long as humanity exists, people have a great interest in their dreams.
The dream is a universal human experience and a natural part of the mental life of every human being. Differences in the understanding of dreams by representatives of different areas of life science and psychology prove the complexity and versatility of this amazing phenomenon of the human psyche, and the need for further study of its use and discovery of opportunities in psychotherapy.
In the workshop you will learn about understanding a metaphoric language of dreams as a projection of human mental life. You will also have your own practical experience of working with dreams using a Gestalt therapy approach. It will also enable you to open and access your hidden resources discovering your creative potentials through the awareness of your experience.
